No 002
Crewneck Knitting Pattern

We dreamed about an easy knit with detailing and fit to its perfection. The neckline took more than three years to refine, targeting this rounded, feminine shape that sits beautifully over shirts or worn just as it is. That's Grivette No 002 — simple but perfect.

This is the most beginner-friendly piece in our collection, and it really feels like the perfect place to start if it's your first sweater. At the same time, it's just as enjoyable for more experienced knitters who are looking for something calm and relaxing.
It's also become one of those garments we keep coming back to. Easy to wear, easy to style, and the kind of knit you'll likely want to make again in different colors and sizes. The fit is intentionally oversized, with generous dropped shoulders and longer sleeves.

The models is wearing a size M and is 174 cm tall, which gives the piece a more open and relaxed silhouette. If you prefer a slightly more fitted look, we recommend sizing down. You can also shorten the sleeves by working fewer rows before the arm hem — we always encourage adapting to your own measurements.
"We even wore it on a four-day trip to the mountains of Iceland, and it still looks just as beautiful — which says a lot about how well this piece holds up."

When Picking Up stitches for the Neckline add one extra stitch on each side of the Wrap Cast On stitches in the front. This will make it seamless and without and holes.

Close up on the Arm Hem. We always add st with Wrap Cast On for the one stitch that is a Purl for the next row in the ribbing. Looking at the end result you see that it blends beautifully into the fabric.

You will start this project from the Upper Back and start with making Increases for each shoulder. This is done next to x nr of stitches on each edge creating this shoulder seam shown here. What you see it the Left Shoulder of Back seam.
