2 STRAND DOUBLE KNIT (2S-DK)

One double knit stitch consists of a pair of two stitches that together create a double-layered, two-colored fabric.

Hold both yarns together, one main yarn and one contrast color yarn. The main yarn color is always shown in the chart from the Right Side of the work.

Bring both yarns to the back. Insert the right-hand needle knitwise into the first stitch and knit it using the main yarn.

Bring both yarns to the front. Insert the right-hand needle purlwise into the next stitch and purl it using the contrast color yarn.
