No 001
Mössa, stickmönster

This beanie has been developed over 4 years, refined through long days on mountain trails, training sessions, and exposure to cold, demanding conditions. As we've worked with it over time, the focus has always been to achieve the right balance between fit, durability, and a clean, timeless look.

The shape is designed to cover the ears without feeling too long or bulky. This size fits most women and men in the S–M range. The hem is triple folded to create warmth while still allowing breathability with an additional inner layer that adds both comfort and structure. It may feel slightly snug at first — this is intentional. The beanie will naturally relax and adapt to your head as it's worn and exposed to warmth and movement.
Layering has been a key principle in the design. In colder conditions, especially in wind-exposed environments, each layer plays a role. Three layers of wool on the outside provides warmth and helps manage moisture, while a cotton layer on the inside adds softness against the skin and helps the beanie maintain its shape. Together, they create a balance between insulation and comfort during activity.

The hem is folded three times with permanent folding.
For this project, you can choose a wool with a slightly more rustic character — something with strength and durability. Since these yarns can feel a bit more textured, the cotton lining helps create a softer feel while still allowing moisture to move away from the body.
This is a piece designed to move with you, whether you're out training in winter conditions, spending a day outdoors, or simply reaching for something reliable during cooler evenings in spring, summer, or autumn.

In terms of construction, this size is quite straightforward and a good place to start. The larger size (L) includes a few more advanced elements, so if you're newer to knitting, we recommend beginning here before moving on.

Beanie from Right Side.

This is the look when folding it out all the way. The permanent folding is visual and keeps the folding in place.

The second line is visual when adding the inner fabric. The construction are in place and the line will be hidden behind the hem as it is folded.

Permanent folding and the final result of adding the inner fabric with cotton yarn. Since this is not visual it is a perfect way to use scrap yarn or a playful color.
