Cardigan, Stickmönster

There's something truly special about a well-fitted cardigan. As we've been working on this piece, the focus has been on creating a shape that highlights a soft and feminine silhouette. The V-neckline is gently curved — almost leaf-like — which gives it a slightly wider and deeper opening, adding both elegance and ease to the fit.

In terms of difficulty, it sits somewhere in between. It's not overly advanced, but it does include a few elements that may feel new if this is your first project. That said, we've created guiding tutorials in our studio on YouTube to support you along the way. With a bit of patience and curiosity, this is absolutely a piece you can complete. We always encourage you to choose projects that excite you — those are the ones that make the process truly rewarding and the end piece something you'll wear over and over again.

The fit is slightly wider with a gently cropped length, designed to be true to size. If you'd like to add a bit more length, you can simply mirror the number of rows worked between the first and second button when knitting between the second and third. For a more extended version, we recommend adding an extra button and considering going up one size to maintain a balanced fit over the hips.
The arms are slightly shorter — we want this to fit over a shirt without covering the hem. Love the look of the shirt edge showing at the cuff.

You will close the ends of the Double Folded Neckline with Mattress Stitches. Do this as you are attaching the loose ends there. Just leave a slightly longer tail when Picking Up stitches.
